Foodtrip - Rack's Festival Mall

Just last Saturday Jing and I went Festival Mall after deliberation of going out or not. We did arrive to the mall lunch time and we haven't had breakfast yet. I told him we could have lunch at the newly opened Rack's since i told him weeks ago that i would treat him for lunch or dinner to the said resto. We tried their Clam chowder (forgot to take pics.. bummer)...

It was ok but i still like the chowder from the Old Spaghetti House ( need to go back there again one of these days).. then had their House Salad with Apples ,Pili nuts and Raspberry Vinagrette.

The salad was really good. dressing was just right. good thing about it is that they already toss it in a separate bowl before they transferred it to the salad plate. So every ingredient has its own share of dressing.... For the main course we had their Sampler Platter which has everything ( liempo , baby back ribs, grilled chicken and beef ribs) the baby back and beef ribs are really fall off the bones. once you slice one off its like a corned beef hahahaha.....The platter also have side dish like steamed veggies (only carrots and corns, i was thinking of mostly greens like beans, brocolli etc). baked beans, which is really good and their corn bread...

We didn't manage to finish the whole servings but it was good. Though not the best tasting ribs for me... but for Jing he is satisfied...

All in all 3 and a half thumbs up .... service is fast actually

Foodtrip - Crustacia

Went with Jing to ATC 3 weeks ago to try out Red Crabs, but ALAS Red Crabs wasn't there anymore. It was replaced by Crustacia. Since i am really really craving for crabs that day, we tried out the place.
We ordered Singaporean Chili Crabs ( mild). The crabs were really really huge (1.5 kls)

then crispy baby squid. i swear they are really babies. don't know where they got it but its so small...and its really yummy...:)

.......Phad thai , they are really really good.... i have tasted phad thai in Banana Leaf and must say it pass my expectations....

and Bagoong Fried Rice.... Jing likes it! i only had a spoonful since i'm on a diet. LOL!!!!

total bill cost us Php 3000+++ around $72++ not bad. Experience was really really good. Its only the "aligue" which is hard already but you wants to eat it anyway unless you want to have hypertensions and cholesterol build up in your arteries.. hehehehe....

will i come back... definitely!
